Cleaning Faster and Less Expensively
Make sure you know what chemicals you need so you are not
spending money on something you won’t use. You don’t
necessarily need the latest product you saw on TV to do an
effective job.
Here are some inexpensive products that will allow you to get
all of your cleaning done effectively: Bleach, baking soda,
vinegar, glass cleaner, baby wipes, dish soap, a multi-purpose
cleaner, and a powder cleanser.
That is everything you need to do a great job.
You will find bleach in almost every expensive cleaner on the
market. You could pour bleach in a spray bottle, dilute and use
it on sinks, tubs, shower, tile, grout, etc. At a fraction of the
cost.
On burners and stove tops, baking soda is a great cleaner.
Put a little on and let it sit, then use a sponge to wipe it off. It
also works great in the refrigerator to get rid of odors. Just
open the box, squeeze in some lemon juice and place it inside.
It will last about 2 weeks. Letting baking soda sit for 10 – 20
minutes avoids a lot of difficult scrubbing.
Dilute vinegar with water and you have a great floor and
window cleaner. For floors, mix in a spray bottle with water
and spray on floors. Use a wet towel and mop up. Like
Lemon? Add some lemon juice to the spray bottle for lemon
scent. Use vinegar and water in a spray bottle as well and
wipe with a towel for windows.
Baby wipes are great to wipe down, counters, sinks, shelves
and just about anything. They are cheaper than paper towels
and a lot cheaper and essentially the same as wipes being
marketed today.
Dish soap can be used not only for dishes but to clean the
toilet as well. Just pour some in and scour with a brush.
